The house is open to the public for self guided tours. Docents on site to offer the history of the house.  At 2 p.m. Bill Grandstaff, local Civil War historian, will present an Octagon House Chat titled “The Other Battlefield – Women In The Civil War”.  Admission of $5.00 includes self-guided tour of the house and the presentation.  Members are always free.
